Terms of Service

Effective October 15, 2026 · Last updated October 15, 2026

These Terms are an agreement between you and Ride Jola Inc. ("Jola", "we", "us"), a New York corporation. They govern your use of ridejola.com and the Jola driver app (together, "the Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Section 16 contains an arbitration agreement and class-action waiver that affect how disputes are resolved. Please read it.

1. What Jola is

Jola is a technology platform. It builds optimized routes from trips that transportation providers (bases, brokers and companies, "Providers") make available, and lets eligible drivers accept a full route, a multi-pickup leg, or an individual live trip. Jola is not a transportation carrier, a broker of record, or a for-hire base, and does not itself provide transportation. Providers decide which trips are offered and remain responsible for their trips, riders and regulatory obligations.

2. Eligibility and accounts

3. Our relationship with drivers

You use Jola independently. Unless you have a separate written agreement saying otherwise, you are not an employee, agent or joint venturer of Jola. You decide whether, when and where to make yourself available, and which routes, legs or live trips to accept or decline. Jola does not set your hours and does not require you to accept any particular trip. Your relationship with a Provider whose trips you accept may be governed by separate terms between you and that Provider.

4. Routes, legs and live trips

5. Driver responsibilities

6. Earnings and payments

Earnings for completed trips are determined by the rates shown for the trip and the applicable Provider arrangement. Earnings figures in the App, including estimated net amounts and hourly rates, are for information and may be adjusted for cancelled, incomplete or disputed trips, tolls, or errors. Payments are made through our payment partners or the Provider, on the schedule shown in the App or your Provider agreement. You are responsible for your own taxes, and you agree to provide tax information we or our partners require. If you believe a payment is wrong, tell us within 30 days of the payment date.

7. Location and navigation

The Services rely on your device's location while you are on duty, as described in our Privacy Policy. Navigation, maps and travel-time estimates are provided for convenience; they may be inaccurate, and you remain responsible for safe and lawful driving and for following road conditions, signs and law. You must not falsify, spoof or interfere with location data.

8. Providers

If you use Jola as a Provider, your use is also governed by your written agreement with Jola, which controls if it conflicts with these Terms. You are responsible for the accuracy of trips you make available, for your obligations to riders, payers and regulators, and for having the rights and consents needed to share trip and rider information with us.

9. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

10. Intellectual property and feedback

The Services, including the App, routing technology, design, artwork, text and the Jola name and marks, are owned by Ride Jola Inc. or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose while these Terms are in effect. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without obligation to you.

11. Third-party services

The Services may integrate with third-party services such as map and navigation apps, app stores, payment processors, messaging providers, and connected-vehicle accounts. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if your eligibility lapses, if required by a Provider or by law, or to protect riders, drivers or the Services. Where practical, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. Sections that by their nature should survive (including payment for completed trips, 10, 13 to 17) survive termination.

13. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jola disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any particular volume of trips or earnings will be available, or that estimates, routes or navigation will be accurate.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jola and its officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, earnings, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Services. Jola's total liability for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts Jola paid to you or received from you in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you in full. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Jola and its officers, employees and agents from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of law or the rights of others, or your provision of transportation.

16. Disputes and arbitration

Talk to us first. Most issues can be fixed quickly. Before starting a formal claim, email legal@ridejola.com with a description of the issue, and we will try in good faith to resolve it within 60 days.

Arbitration. If we cannot resolve it, you and Jola agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its applicable rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court for misuse of intellectual property. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section.

Class-action waiver. Disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis, not as a class, collective or representative action, to the extent permitted by law.

Opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing legal@ridejola.com within 30 days after you first accept these Terms, stating your name and that you opt out of arbitration.
